Antarctic Peninsula

1903 Nordenskjold Hut

Otto Nordenskjold and 5 colleagues spent two winters here due to their ship "Antarctic" was crushed by ice.  The expedition was rescued by the Argentinian naval vessel "Uruguay" November 1903.
